What would you have for your last meal?

22Oct08

I found this website that lists the last meal requests of different inmates in Texas. I find it fascinating what people request.  Everything from a bag of Jolly Ranchers to a pot of Coffee to a whole slew of things…

I’m thinking this would be my last meal – 4 slices of French Toast, 3 Scrambled Eggs with Jalapenos and Cholula sauce, Chips and Salsa w/cheese, Trail Mix (the Wal-Mart Mountain Mix), 6 Fried Cheesesticks, 4 Jalapeno Poppers, Mashed Potatoes w/gravy, NY Cheesecake w/a side of Cookie Dough Ice Cream, 2 Diet Dr Peppers and 2 Diet Cokes…. finishing off with a nice Shiraz.  I’d be ready for Heaven! 🙂

The inmates I agreed with their food choices the most are the following–

James Wilkins – a 26 year old cook who killed his former girlfriend’s child and husband – “Six scrambled eggs, hash browns with onions, two sausage patties, biscuits with butter, two pints of strawberry cheesecake yogurt, two pitchers of sweet milk, and a pint of strawberry ice cream.”

William Little – a 24 year old roofer who raped and murdered his female drug dealer that sold him marijuana – “Fifteen slices of cheese, three fried eggs, three buttered toasts, two hamburger patties with cheese, 2 tomato sliced, one sliced onion, french fries with salad dressing, 2 lb. of crispy fried bacon, one quart chocolate milk and one pint of fresh strawberries.”

David Castillo – a 20 year old electrician who stabbed, murdered and robbed a liquor store owner – “Twenty-four soft shell tacos, six enchiladas, six tostados, two whole onions, five jalapenos, two cheeseburgers, one chocolate shake, one quart of milk and one package of Marlboro cigarettes.”

Hilton Crawford – a 57 year old police officer who kidnapped his nephew for ransom money to help with financial problems.  ended up shooting the twelve year old – “Twelve beef ribs, three enchiladas, chicken fried steak with cream gravy, crisp bacon sandwich, ketchup, a loaf of bread, cobbler, three Cokes, three root beer, French fries, and onion rings.”
